Biography
Matt writes, directs and produces advertising and creative communications—including digital, television, print, outdoor, radio, print collateral and much more—for numerous corporations, organizations, non-profits and political candidates.
Among his better-known corporate clients have been NPR, Intel, the Ford Motor Company, Microsoft, Shell, Procter & Gamble, Chase Bank, Dominion Energy, University of Maryland Medicine, Noble Energy, PhRMA, Olive Garden Italian Restaurants, TXU, WallStreetJournal.com, Canon Cameras, BlueCross BlueShield, the National Museum of the American Indian and the United States Telecom Association. He’s won numerous awards for both creative excellence and efficacy, and believes that in order for creative work to be successful it must solve business challenges in memorable ways.
Prior to (re)starting his own creative company, Matt worked at Proof Integrated Communications (a part of Burson-Marsteller) as the agency’s Chief Creative Officer. In addition, he’s worked at D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, Grey Advertising, the Glover Park Group and ran the first iteration of his own creative and media services firm, Caffeine Creative. Beyond his work in advertising, Matt wrote and produced an off-Broadway play entitled Sailing To Byzantium; and he was the writer, creative director and co-producer of the documentary film, A Blinding Flash of the Obvious, which won “Best-of-Show” at the 2006 Breckenridge Film Festival.
