Biography
At BRINK, we design interactive platforms, develop creative digital content and deploy integrated communications campaigns to engage audiences and drive results. I manage our DC office, direct our strategy and new business efforts, supervise our largest accounts and lend my expertise as a consultant for User Experience Design, Content, SEO/SEM and Digital Strategy.
I began my passion as a child tinkering with HTML, deconstructing my favorite sites and building new sites of my own. Each site I built became more sophisticated as I taught myself Flash, PHP and JavaScript and continued to hone my design aesthetic and front-end development abilities.
By the time I was just old enough to drive I had a successful freelance career and a part-time job running a web team for the Vail School District in Arizona. A few years later, I became Lead Developer at BRINK working on a variety of Webby and American Advertising Award winning websites for clients such as PayPal, Holland Tourism and Kevin Spacey’s TriggerStreet.
Over time I began taking on more of a client-facing role, melding my marketing education with my technical experience to drive strategy for our clients. I was also empowered to lead BRINK’s own marketing efforts. I championed a transition for us from an entirely development focused shop to a more full-service digital agency, recognizing that content development and communications planning were keys to our ability to compete in a more social web. As our capabilities grew, so did our opportunities.
In 2011, I opened the doors to our first expansion office in Washington, DC and was made a Partner in recognition of the tremendous growth BRINK experienced under my direction. Today the DC office is responsible for 70% of our revenues and is leading the charge on BRINK’s continued ascension toward the upper echelons of creative agencies.
