A pioneering veteran in digital marketing, Mr. Panagides brings nearly 20 years of experience managing innovative, revenue generating programs optimizing acquisition, retention, analytics and tech stack at various companies in the fintech (identity theft protection, credit scores, tax), wireless, technology and education verticals.
Prior to his arrival at TaxSlayer where he helped build marketshare for a challenger brand in a hyper-competitive space, Chris also led the digital marketing efforts at Identity Guard where he helped launch the 1st identity theft protection product utilizing IBM Watson’s artificial intelligence and machine learning. “CP” launched the first digital marketing CRM and email program at Nextel (and later Sprint Nextel). He then built a one billion page view customer segmentation program at AOL. An expert in the education vertical too, CP created best-in-class lead generation programs at education tech provider Ellucian and built and led the marketing analytics team responsible for optimizing multi-channel acquisition and retention programs for the largest online public school with over 100,000 students enrolled.
An avid basketball fan who has coached the sport at the youth level (his favorite defense is the 1-3-1 … ask him), including for his son Anthony’s team, CP is also a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan. He and his wife Katrina are also proud parents of one University of Virginia alum and one current junior. Mr. Panagides is a graduate of SUNY Albany and holds an MBA from Georgia State.
