Imani Greene is the Founder and President of GreeneGroup, an independent consultancy that designs advertising and communications solutions to business challenges.
At Ogilvy, Imani adds to the team’s integrated capabilities by orchestrating ad buys across every medium, that support behavioral change and drive measurable outcomes.
Imani has extensive expertise, and over the last two decades she has also designed/managed campaigns at other global firms such as McCann-Erickson, Meredith and Saatchi & Saatchi. Her strategic insight and oversight have been applied to:
- advocacy campaigns on behalf of BP, MetLife, ASAE, AAR (Association of American Railroads), ACCCE (American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity), NRECA (National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and ACC (American Chemistry Council);
- behavioral change campaigns on behalf of NHLBI’s (National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s) “Red Dress”, CDC’s (Center for Disease Control & Prevention’s) “Screen for Life”, and HHS’s (Health and Human Services’) “Healthcare.gov”;
- corporate/consumer campaigns on behalf of the Washington Nationals, Marriott, Smith Barney, US Airways, Coldwell Banker, Toyota Motors, various Unilever brands, various Pharmaton brands;
- and dozens more.
Imani is versed in every medium, including: national and local television; network and spot cable; network and spot radio; national, regional and local print; and out-of-home/outdoor. Importantly, she has very rich experience across digital advertising tools including: programmatic, display, desktop, mobile, native, video, SEM (search engine marketing) and paid social media. However, she is at her best when designing campaigns that combine the might of multiple platforms to drive measurable success.
Imani currently sits on the Boards of Directors of the National Press Foundation, United Way of the National Capital Area and Calvary Women’s Services, and is a member of Leadership Greater Washington. She attended Hampton University, and is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Maryland.
Imani’s personal passion is supporting workforce readiness for at-risk youths. To this end, she founded a non-profit organization, called EveryDay Inspirations, which connects inner-city teen mothers with accomplished women who may serve as beacons of inspiration to them.
Imani lives in Bowie (Maryland) and is the proud mother of her 12 year-old son, D. Chad.
