Favio Martinez orchestrates and implements multifaceted brand, marketing and communications initiatives for brands seeking to strengthen their position in the market place. He’s successfully led strategic efforts for national and international brands including the U.S. Army National Guard, Discovery Channel and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. To feed his entrepreneurial spirit, Favio co-launched College Parents of America, the first national membership association in the U.S. for parents of future and current college students; founded the strategic marketing and communications agency, Viona Group; and led LMO Advertising’s multicultural marketing efforts.
In 2009, Favio joined the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) where he’s led a comprehensive rebranding of the organization. He holds a Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a BA in International Relations from American University, and has taught marketing at George Mason University in Virginia.
