Advertising Photowalk through DC’s Downtown District

Explore DC’s downtown district and see commercialism and advertising, through the lens.  Our ADWKDC journey would start at the National Museum of Woman’s Arts (1250 New York Avenue, NW), then trek through Palmer Alley and City Centre, by the Verizon Center, and then back via G Street.

We will look at the many subtle commercial ads that present themselves to the district’s visitors. In addition, we will discuss the incredible architecture, and how developers have created commercial venues in the midst of the District.  We will close up with drinks at Capitol City Brewery.

Please RSVP to Geoff Livingston.
